Developed by French doctor Bruno Chikly, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) practitioners use flat hands and fingers and to simulate gentle, wavy movements to activate lymph and interstitial fluid circulation. This process, also called Manual Lymphatic Mapping (MLM), is used to determine the best pathways for draining body-fluid stagnations.
